As part of the Basalt Education Foundation’s revitalized “new look, ” the Board has contracted with two Roaring Fork Valley design firms to help us present a professional, upbeat, welcoming face to the community.
First, the BEF Marketing Committee worked closely with Graphic Design to create a brand new logo that represents our forward-thinking mission and vision to enhance education in the Basalt public schools and maximize community investment in the schools to deliver innovative, creative programming and experiences for every student.
“The simple but modern new logo–with a nod to the Basalt schools’ purple color–is just the fresh look we were looking for, ” said Stephen Holley, BEF Board member and Marketing Committee chair. “Kimi, Margaret and Sharon from iThree have been a delight to work with, and we look forward to seeing what they will bring forth for our updated Taste of Basalt logo, as well.”
Trent Blizzard, principal of Online Marketing and Website Design, took on the task of updating the BEF website that had long been neglected. “The clean lines of this our new website, coupled with an easy-to-use back-end WordPress platform, means that BEF can now do a much better job of keeping our community informed of what’s happening not only with the foundation, but in our public schools, ” said Holley. “Again, we’re pleased with Trent’s design and we’re glad to keep this design work in the valley, versus outsourcing elsewhere.”
